Our Story

Our story began with a swipe and a date at the Denny's on Austin Ave, where Joyce came worrying that Estevan might be a misogynistic murderer and Estevan came excited to meet a cute girl. Turns out Joyce was wrong, and Estevan was right!​

We hit it off right away and continued our date at Burnaby Mountain, the very location where Estevan would propose to Joyce four years later.​

Throughout our relationship, we faced a global pandemic, navigated personal struggles and growth, and shared our joys and burdens. For one another, we learned patience, perseverance, compassion, and love.​
